Business gurus Jimmy and Jenny Mealworm, who apparently are referred to as
the "Bonnie and Clyde" of today's business
world, at least by themselves, lectured on their latest
book "CEO for Morons" last June 27 in the
BC Lecture Hall. For those with an odd sense of humor,
the evening would be judged a success; for those seeking
to hold the top position in one of today's mega-corporations,
perhaps they best look elsewhere.
A light turnout was blamed on summer vacation, but
the smattering of attendees did not seem to phase the
Mealworms one bit.

They cheerfully launched into a review of the insights
detailed in their book, which they personally guaranteed
could help almost any aspiring CEO:
- Hire people who agree with you
- The key to Sales? SELL, SELL, SELL
- Leave the product development to the geeks, blame
and fire them if it doesn't work out, and
- Raises and bonuses - how to humor 'em
Several successful business persons in the audience
challenged the Mealworms', and even received some applause
from other audience members in doing so. The Mealworms
continued un-phased, however, either ignoring the other's
points, responding with their trademark "Says you!",
or indicating that their data says otherwise, though
they were never able to identify the exact source of
their data.
While it may seem that many a CEO is a candidate for
this book, we recommend a more traditional MBA-type
education for those seeking this path.
