Taking Down the Mob for Morons - reviewed July 2007

Dr. René Face, award winning author of "Taking Down the Mob for Morons" met with a sparse but enthusiastic audience here at the Auditorium to discuss his theories on how anyone can bring down organized crime, and how he thinks this approach can solve many modern day problems.

Dr. Face's techniques on first gaining trust, then participating in various aspects of organized crime, and finally "ratting-out" the bad guys seemed far-fetched, and one would guess that Dr. Face had seen one to many gangster movie.

When asked "But don't you think you could get yourself killed doing something like this?", Dr Face's sheepish reply "Well, yes, I suppose that could happen" left the audience more than a little skeptical. He wouldn't comment on whether he had used any of his methods himself, but appeared very nervous, as he sweated profusely and was obviously shaken up after a skeptical audience member popped a paper bag.

Novel ideas and approaches, but we don't believe their time has come - let's leave this to law enforcement for now.
